From the Realme 1 to the Realme 8, they also include 2 new devices in their series including a phone with 5G and one without. The Realme 9i has lots of features – some that are not seen in current budget smartphones. It houses a 710 SoC and also has an impressive HD+ display with 6.3 inches (but the pixels are smaller than you would expect). The Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with an impressive 4000mAh battery that lasts up to 24 hours on a single charge. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a gradient finish that is available in black or white.

The Realme 9i is the latest phone from the company with an impressive price tag. It also has a ton of features and most importantly, it doesn’t look like other devices in its category. That Make It Stand Out From Other Devices In Its Category

Realme 9i Design

The Realme 9i has a stylish design and it’s quite a good looking phone. It comes in two color options of blue & black and boasts of a flashy back with a “prism” effect. Those who want a design that stands out can go for the Prism Blue variant, but others should opt for the Prism Black variant which offers a more subtle look.

Just barely 0.2-in shorter than the Nokia 7.1 and 0.2-lb lighter than the Honor 9i, it’s quite comfortable to hold in one hand, even if that is a stretch for you – it’s a little harder to reach and press those volume buttons on the side due to their thinness but not impossible. At the bottom, you will find a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille.

Realme 9i Display

You get a big screen on your new phone, which has six and a half inches of FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display is bright & vibrant with appealing colours. You can change between vivid and calm mode for extensive contrast. You can comfortably view your screen in bright sunlight with its high refresh rate and support for 90Hz. You’ll have a smooth scrolling experience without any hitching or stuttering.

Realme 9i Cameras

Smartphones with a triple camera setup offer quality features that guarantee photographs will be high-quality and eye-catching. If you’re looking for these features, make sure to pick out one with a 50-megapixel sensor and Samsung’s other two lenses. When it comes to capturing excellent photo quality, you want nothing but the best. With a middled-level camera and HDR capabilities, the Realme 9i can take amazing photos and you won’t need to bother about unnecessary detail in your image.

It’s common for low-light photography to be tricky, but the Realme 9i isn’t a camera to rely on for good shots. The images still come out blurry even with night mode on and there isn’t an ultra-wide-angle lens either, so that one is another thing you should be cautious about.

The Realme 9i provides a 30fps video quality which is good enough to get stationary videos and other environments. If you find yourself in an active environment or need to shoot fast-paced scenes, the video quality may not be up to snuff.

The Realme 9i has a 16-megapixel camera on the front. It lets you take good selfies and even does the lightning effect by itself. There’s a clear preference for the selfies to have a more “natural” look. Those who like to use beauty apps will find this appealing.

Realme 9i Performance

The Realme 9i has a good performance when it comes to regular usage and gaming. We tried out Battlegrounds Mobile India on the phone and we didn’t notice any lags or hiccups at all. Asphalt 9 played well on the phone too. It’s a very smooth experience overall! BGMI worked fine with graphics set to ‘Smooth High’, and there were no issues while playing the game. Asphalt 9, however, is a more demanding game so it may not run smoothly on the device you are using.

Realme 9i Battery life

Watching videos on your phone is great. It has a tall display and makes a great choice for entertainment. You also get a powerful battery that lasts the entire day. You can enjoy your favorite shows & games without ever needing to charge and the audio on these headphones is crisp & clear so you don’t miss anything. Realme 9i supports 33W fast charging, which means you can charge from 0 to 100 per cent in under an hour. It also gives you 10 minutes of battery life on standby with a full charge.

The phone is a customizable model with realme UI 2.0 and comes with many Google apps that you’d want on your phone. It’s also pre-installed with popular third-party apps such as Spotify, Snapchat, Prime Video and PhonePe. We found OUI to be relatively user-friendly with a fairly clean front. There was less poking around than any other option we could find, but the side-mounted fingerprint sensor was a little more distracting. Unlocking your phone is often frustrating because sensors don’t always work right. You can opt for a firm or light touch, but that doesn’t offer the convenient experience you were hoping for. The other options include face unlock and PIN or pattern for unlocking the phone.

Realme 9i Verdict

And for a real budget-friendly smartphone, the Realme 9i checks a lot of boxes. It has a really good display, good cameras, fast performance and an amazing battery life. It also doesn’t hurt that it costs very little in comparison to other devices out there. The Realme 9i provides good value for money and is a great choice for those looking to buy a budget smartphone. One disadvantage it faces is that its rivals like the Redmi Note 11 have more features & aren’t as budget friendly.
